Term 4!

Kia ora!

Welcome back to another terrific term at Rowandale and our final term at Rowandale for 2013! My goodness this year has flown by already, hard to believe there is only 69 days until christmas and i'm sure those 69 days will fly by just as quickly.

We have a lot of exciting things to look forward to this term. We are having TWO discos this term the first coming up very soon - a halloween themed disco on the 1st of November. We also have our overnight camp experience coming up in Week 6 we will be needing parent help for this so notices will be going out shortly.

This term we are getting back into our topic 'The Pacific Basin' and each week we will be looking at a different Pacific Island so we have a bit of an overview of all the Pacific Islands. This is leading up to our cultural performance in Week 8 when the whole school will be performing an item. We will let you know more information closer to the time so you can come and watch and support your children.

Conferences are coming up in Week 3, I look forward to seeing you all their to discuss your childrens learning and their goals for this term.

This term we have gotten straight back to it in all areas. We have been focussing on The Gingerbread Man in writing. This morning we decorated our own Gingerbread Men on paper. Next week we are making our own and eating them which will be heaps of fun! :)

I'm looking forward to another wonderful term with the Flying Fish and helping you on your journey of Soaring to Success 😃
